The next items to be removed are the window frames & apertures. This required stripping & removal of all interior door card components. This included the window glass & regulator. At the rear of the vehicle, the door window external chrome trim & seal have been previously fixed with adhesive with all screws & clips missing. Throughout removal of the rear apeture several bolts were excessively seized & corroded sheering on removal. These snapped studs have since been drilled & awaiting re tapping. The windo frames were seperated, glas removed & re assembled. The majority of all chrome removed from the vehicle is in a fairly poor state with heavy pitting, corrosion & distortion throughout. the bonnet chrome's were next, the front trim was first removed with one clip sheering. This will need to be replaced along with several others on reassembly. The jaguar was then removed from the bonnet followed by the rear strip & left & right strips. The majority of nuts for this central strip will need replacing along with the clips. The left & right bonnet side trims have suffered from some distortion & damage to the corroded retaing pins. From here the front door chrome will be stripped along with the front grille & head lamp bezels
