After a visual inspection of the vehicle the following areas of concern were raised. The vehicle has obviously suffered substantial damage from the accident and it is apparent that parts of the bodywork will need to be replaced, the side skirt is heavily damaged along with the door. There are carbon fibre attachment tags that have been broken and will require repair. The rest of the bodywork seems to of been unaffected. Although there are missing parts that we can see, these are the 2 intake ducts that sit inside the front bumper.Onto the chassis and it is clear that a replacement front bumper side mount has been fitted and does not appear to be OEM, along with the front bumper mounting plate which is missing. There appears to be a bent chassis member at the rear, this will need to be replaced and a squareness check performed on the rear end of the car to assess if more damage has been done than what is visible.Customer stated that the RR wheel has a bent mount but no visible damage can be seen upon inspection so will need looking into further. The bonnet pull is broken and will require replacement.
I have undertaken an assessment of the chassis and box section frame assemblies at the front and rear of the vehicle. There is clear damage and impact distortion to the right hand side of the rear chassis box section frame and rear right arm clevis. The extent of this damage does not appear ,at this time, to continue much further across the chassis or into the frames, it seems to be localised to the right hand rear area surrounding the clevis. The impact has caused the rear frame out of square by as much as 10mm in places, some gussets are also damaged and distorted. In order for the frame to be repaired I would need full access to the area and would suggest that it is necessary to remove the engine, gearbox, sump and differential as a minimum in order to gain the access needed to repair the frames correctly.
