Auto RARA Club Sport is a performance-led development programme for classic and modern classic cars, created for drivers who intend to use their cars properly — on the road and on circuit.
Unlike factory clubsport models, every Auto RARA Club Sport car is developed as a one-off. Each project is assessment-led and shaped around the driver, the intended use, and the individual car, ensuring clarity, confidence, and repeatable performance.
From fast road and track-day use through to more focused circuit driving, Club Sport builds are engineered for endurance, usability, and long-term ownership — with road legality, serviceability, and provenance retained by design.
What is Club Sport?
Club Sport is Auto RARA’s bespoke approach to track-capable performance development. It bridges the gap between road-focused restomods and dedicated track cars, delivering a clubsport build that is individually engineered, confidence-inspiring, and capable of repeated track use.
Every Club Sport car is developed with a clear brief, focusing on suspension setup, braking performance, cooling, and driver connection — creating a car that feels intuitive, predictable, and rewarding to drive.
Club Sport Assessment
Every Club Sport project begins with a comprehensive assessment. This process evaluates the car’s structure, suspension, braking, cooling, and historic work alongside how the car will actually be driven.
The assessment defines whether Club Sport or Club Sport R is appropriate and establishes a clear, coherent development path. It ensures performance upgrades are made with purpose, not assumption — resulting in a track-ready car that delivers confidence, consistency, and durability.
Club Sport & Club Sport R
Club Sport builds are performance-led and road-capable, ideal for drivers who enjoy fast road driving with regular track days. Club Sport R takes a more track-focused approach, prioritising repeatable circuit performance, thermal stability, and driver feedback under sustained load.
Both options are developed in-house, remain road legal by design, and are fully documented — with the depth of development matched to how the car will be used.

Club Sport Performance Development
Auto RARA Club Sport is designed around the real requirements of a modern track day car. Performance alone is not enough; a clubsport build must deliver clear feedback, consistent behaviour under load, and reliability across repeated sessions. Whether the aim is fast road driving with regular track days or a more focused track car configuration, every Club Sport project begins with assessment and follows a structured development path.
Rather than relying on generic clubsport upgrades, our approach considers the car as a complete system. Suspension setup and track suspension are developed to suit the individual chassis and driver, improving balance, predictability, and confidence. Brake upgrades are selected for modulation and thermal stability, supporting repeatable performance rather than short-term gains. Cooling, geometry, and drivability are developed together to ensure the car performs consistently throughout a track day.
Club Sport development also reflects the realities of ownership. Road legality, noise management, and long-term serviceability are integral to the process, allowing the car to be driven to and from events where appropriate. This balance ensures the car remains enjoyable beyond the circuit while retaining the focus required of a serious track day car.
For drivers seeking a more circuit-led approach, Club Sport R offers a track-focused development pathway. These builds prioritise endurance, repeatability, and clarity under sustained load, with geometry, cooling, and braking engineered for demanding track use. As with all Auto RARA clubsport builds, development is assessment-led and carried out entirely in-house.
All Club Sport and Club Sport R projects are completed at our Derby facility, where fabrication, mechanical engineering, track preparation, and validation are managed under one roof. Each build is documented through our connected Build Diary and preserved in a permanent Build Book, capturing the technical decisions and development process in full.
